SUMMER Collegiate BASEBALL: 2023 SEASON
For the Summer of 2023, we will have tryouts the weekends of May 12-13, 19-20 and 26-27.  On Memorial Day, May 29, our coaches will conduct a draft to choose players for the following:
  1. Sunset League Team (Blue Team)
  2. California Premier League Team (Gold Team)
  3. LABL League Team (Gray Team)
Each of our Teams will have a 25 man roster:
  • 12 Pitchers
  • 2 Catchers
  • 3 Corner Infielders
  • 3 Middle Infielders
  • 4 Outfielders
  • 1 Utility Player (who can catch)
We place a premium on pitching, defense and speed. We prefer players who have high on base percentage, low strike-out rate, put the ball in play, move runners over, etc. Our pitchers are encouraged to work ahead, work down and pitch to soft contact. Players must be fully committed and are required to participate in 90% of all scheduled games. Players may be dropped if commitment is unacceptable to team standards.
All players must be registered and pre-paid ($650 for position players, $550 for pitchers) before workouts in May.
Players eligible for the Summer Wood Bat Collegiate Season:
Only those players on a College Baseball Roster will be eligible to play in our Summer Collegiate Program.  Because we are in a very competitive situation, graduating High School Seniors who play Varsity Baseball are also eligible.

Fall & Winter BASEBALL: 2021 SEASON (Collegiate & High School)
The East LA Dodgers will be providing a Fall & Winter Baseball Season, beginning Sept 11-12 weekend and concluding Dec 18-19 weekend.
We will only play on Weekends; Collegiate Team plays on Saturday at Cantwell-Sacred Heart High School in Montebello. High School plays on Sundays at St. Pius Matthias Academy in Downey.

Player Registration

$550.00 - $650.00

Please remember to submit your registration form to which league you are registering for. There are NO refunds.

What is provided

We provide the team jersey. Each player will provide the following:
• Grey Pants
• Pro-Style LA Dodger Hat
• Royal Blue Belt and Socks
• Wood Bat (Composites are ok)
• Batting Helmet
• If you are a Catcher, You must provide your own Catcher’s Equipment

COST
The costs are: $650 for position players & $550 for pitchers.  There are no refunds 

Mandatory fundraiser

Each player is required to participate in our One Fundraiser: In July, we are hosting a benefit concert in order to raise funds for Tournaments, Post-Season play, etc. 

Each player will be required to sell or buy (4) Concert Tickets.  These tickets and information flyers will be available on June 1st.

A player may opt out of this fundraiser by making a donation of $100 to our program.  Sign up page (coming soon)
