On December 15th, 2008, the uniform number 11, of Leo Rosales was retired by the ELA Dodgers. At their annual Christmas banquet, attended by 35 current and former ELA Dodgers, Coach Leo Gutierrez presented Leo Rosales with his jersey that he used when playing for the ELA Dodgers in 1998-2000. Leo Rosales, a Reseda High School graduate, also attended L.A City College and Cal State Northridge. He was drafted and signed by the San Diego Padres in 2002 and was traded to the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2007. Leo pitched strictly out of the bullpen in 2008, throwing 42 innings, with a 2-1 record, and an ERA of 3.15. We wish Leo much success in the Major Leagues.
